PLVG plug valve is a rotary valve with a closure or plunger shape. It is a type of valve that opens or closes by rotating 90 degrees to make the channel port on the valve plug the same or separate from the channel port on the valve body. The shape of the valve plug of a rotary valve can be cylindrical or conical. In a cylindrical valve plug, the channel is generally rectangular; In a conical valve, the channel is trapezoidal. These shapes make the structure of the plug valve lightweight, but at the same time, they also result in certain losses. Plug valves are most suitable for cutting off and connecting media, as well as for diverting flow, but depending on their properties and the erosion resistance of the sealing surface, they can sometimes also be used for throttling.

Q:When should a plug valve be used?
The application scenarios of plug valves are well-defined, primarily occurring in situations where rapid on/off control of fluid pipelines is required or periodic flushing of pipeline impurities is necessary.
Q:What specific areas are involved?
For instance, pipelines in the petroleum and chemical industries that transport corrosive oils/gases or chemical slurries, as well as sewage conveyance lines handling wastewater containing sediment impurities, all require flushable plug valves with excellent sealing performance and erosion resistance for effective control.
This is primarily attributed to the exceptional quality of the product itself: Our eccentric plug valve features an integrated sealing structure design. During closure, the eccentric force ensures complete contact between the valve core and seat, delivering sealing performance far superior to that of similar products. It maintains zero leakage even under complex operating conditions characterized by high pressure and severe wear, effectively reducing leakage issues during production and maintenance. Additionally, its specialized wedge-shaped opening/closing mechanism ensures smooth and effortless operation, preventing common issues like jamming or locking associated with traditional valves after prolonged use, thereby extending service life by over 30% compared to conventional plug valves.
