This valve is suitable for handling switches or pipes containing hard particles or soft particles and corrosive media. Its nominal pressure is 1.6 MPa and the design temperature is below 200 degrees Celsius.
All parts in contact with the medium are made of structural ceramics, which have excellent chemical stability and hardness (Rockwell hardness HRC90, second only to diamond). Therefore, the valve has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, as well as good insulation performance and minimal thermal expansion.
The sphere is manufactured by precision grinding machinery and process to ensure the high roundness and excellent surface quality of the sphere. After alignment with the valve seat, effective sealing is achieved by using self-lubricating zirconia ceramic.
Because of the strong wear resistance of ceramics, this valve is very durable and reliable, and its service life is 2-4 times that of titanium alloy and Monel alloy valves.
● Wear Resistance: The ball and seat of the ball valve are made of ceramic materials, which have high wear resistance and greatly prolong the service life of the valve.
● Excellent Sealing Performance: Ceramic materials are hard and strong against deformation, and the ball valve has excellent sealing effect when closed to prevent leakage.
● Strong Corrosion Resistance: Ceramic materials have excellent corrosion resistance to various chemicals, making ceramic floating valves suitable for chemical and pharmaceutical applications in corrosive environments.
● Low fluid Resistance: When the ball valve is open, the ball aligns with the fluid passage, resulting in minimal fluid flow resistance. This design effectively reduces energy consumption.
