This valve is suitable for switching equipment or pipeline handling high hardness granular materials, soft particles or corrosive media. Its nominal pressure is 1.6 MPa, suitable for temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius.
All components in contact with the medium are made of structural ceramics, which have excellent chemical stability and hardness (Rockwell hardness HRC90, second only to diamond). Therefore, the valve has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and erosion resistance, as well as good insulation properties and minimal thermal expansion.
The sphere is manufactured by advanced grinding equipment and process, which ensures the high precision roundness and excellent surface quality of the sphere. When it cooperates with the valve seat, the self-lubricating performance of zirconia ceramic makes the valve have excellent sealing properties.
Because of the excellent wear resistance of ceramics, the valve is not only durable and reliable, but also has a service life of 2-4 times that of titanium alloy or Monel alloy valves.
