X343Y plug valve is a rotary valve with a closure or plunger shape. It is a type of valve that opens or closes by rotating 90 degrees to make the channel port on the valve plug the same or separate from the channel port on the valve body. The shape of the valve plug of a rotary valve can be cylindrical or conical. In a cylindrical valve plug, the channel is generally rectangular; In a conical valve, the channel is trapezoidal. These shapes make the structure of the plug valve lightweight, but at the same time, they also result in certain losses. Plug valves are most suitable for cutting off and connecting media, as well as for diverting flow, but depending on their properties and the erosion resistance of the sealing surface, they can sometimes also be used for throttling.

Q:When should a plug valve be used?
The application scenarios of plug valves are well-defined, primarily occurring in situations where rapid on/off control of fluid pipelines is required or periodic flushing of pipeline impurities is necessary.
Q:What specific areas are involved?
For instance, pipelines in the petroleum and chemical industries that transport corrosive oils/gases or chemical slurries, as well as sewage conveyance lines handling wastewater containing sediment impurities, all require flushable plug valves with excellent sealing performance and erosion resistance for effective control.
Our core advantage lies in targeted optimizations across both materials and manufacturing processes: the valve plug and seat are produced using high-precision matching grinding techniques, ensuring superior sealing surface fit that maintains stable performance even under prolonged pressure exposure, significantly reducing the risk of fluid leakage. To meet diverse operational requirements including corrosion resistance, high temperatures, and high pressures, we offer customized solutions using materials such as stainless steel and alloy steel, suitable for applications in oil and gas transportation, chemical processing, municipal water supply and drainage systems, and beyond. Additionally, our products feature a simple structural design with low operating torque on the valve stem, enabling smooth operation and easy maintenance; this helps enterprises reduce long-term operational costs. Furthermore, all units undergo comprehensive pressure seal testing before shipment, ensuring reliable sealing performance throughout their service life for your pipeline systems.
