1. Clean pipeline equipment before installation to remove impurities so as to avoid blockage.
2. Steam traps should be installed as far as possible under steam equipment and easily drained.
3. Steam traps should be installed in easy-to-repair places and arranged as centrally as possible to facilitate management.
4. Steam traps shall be installed separately in each steam heating equipment.
5. The installation of bypass pipes shall not be lower than that of steam traps.
6. When installing, pay attention to the direction of arrow on valve body should be consistent with the direction of pipeline medium flow.
7. The medium flow direction of the steam trap inlet and outlet pipelines should be 4% downhill, and the nominal diameter of the pipeline should not be less than the nominal diameter of the steam trap.
8. When the drainage capacity of a steam trap can not meet the requirements, several steam traps can be installed in parallel. Anti-freezing measures must be used where freezing may occur.
