How to Select Valve Type and Material:
1. Mainly used for fully open/close, with gate valve, butterfly valve and ball valve. Due to the flexible nature of the gate and the existing flow channel for discharging pressure, the leakage at the outlet end of the valve will increase as the pressure increases. However, gate valves are usually used in high-pressure systems. Butterfly valves are generally used in low-pressure pipelines. Ball valves are usually used in pipelines of normal temperature systems, which take full advantage of their advantages because of their short working time and low resistance to media.
2. There are butterfly valves, ball valves, globe valves and needle valves for adjusting flow. Generally, in the valve industry, stop valves are easy to operate and are suitable for small-diameter and small-sized pipelines, and butterfly valves are suitable for large-diameter, low-pressure gas pipelines. But before and after use, the pressure of the valve changes greatly. Needle valve is used when adjusting small flow.
3. Considering the backflow prevention method, a check valve is usually used. Under normal circumstances, the lift check valve is used when the diameter is less than 40mm. When the caliber is larger than 50mm, use a swing check valve; when the caliber is larger, use a dual plate check valve. It is possible to allow the gas valve to use a structure that does not lose its strength at the working temperature of the medium, but the valve must be made of a material that can maintain its strength at the working temperature.
