Under normal circumstances, if it is not tightly closed, first check whether the valve is completely closed. If there is still leakage after it has been completely closed and cannot be sealed, then check the sealing surface. The sealing pair of some valves is detachable. Just take it out for grinding, test again, if it is still not closed tightly, then you must return to the factory for maintenance or replace the valve, so as not to affect the normal use of the valve and accidents such as operating conditions.
If the valve is not closed tightly, you should first find out where the problem is, and then solve it according to the corresponding method.
There are several reasons why the valve is not closed tightly:
(1) There are impurities stuck on the sealing surface, and the debris is deposited at the bottom of the valve or between the valve disc and the valve seat;
(2) The valve stem thread is rusty and the valve cannot be turned;
(3) The sealing surface of the valve is damaged, causing the medium to leak;
(4) The valve stem and the valve clack are not well connected, so that the valve clack and the valve seat can not be in close contact.
The Solution of the problem why the valve is not closed tightly:
1. There are impurities stuck to the valve sealing surface
Sometimes the valve is not tightly closed suddenly. It may be that there is an impurity stuck between the sealing surface of the valve. At this time, no force should be used to close the valve. The valve should be opened slightly, and then try to close again. During inspection, the quality of the medium should be kept clean.
2, The stem thread is rusty
For valves that are usually in the open state, when they are accidentally closed, because the valve stem threads have rusted, they may not close tightly. In this case, you can repeatedly open and close the valve several times and knock the bottom of the valve body with a small hammer at the same time to close the valve tightly without grinding and repairing the valve.
3, The valve sealing surface is damaged
If the switch is still not closed tightly after trying many times, the sealing surface has been damaged and should be reported for repair; or if the sealing surface is damaged by corrosion or particle scratches in the medium, it should also be reported for repair.
4,The valve stem and the valve clack are not well connected
Lubricate the stem and stem nut frequently to ensure flexible opening and closing of the valve. There must be a formal maintenance plan.
